San Jose, Calif. – With the introduction of GemLight Technologies™ full line of ultra-highbrightness Sapphire Star™ high-definition, LED LCD modules, “There is something new under the sun, and you can read it too!” jokes Tom Credelle, vice president of sales and marketing.
The line features 32″ to 72″ displays that will not wash out in full sun, with greater than 2000 cd/m2 (nits), 100:1 dimming capabilities, and 1000:1 contrast ratio that can be enjoyed from bezel to bezel.
The displays employ an LED backlight with custom-designed ceramic package LEDs,guaranteeing 50 thousand hours of operating life, reliability and built-in redundancy. With an integrated cooling system, a remote monitoring feature, and a redundant controller design with fail-safe thermal shutdown, these displays set a new standard for electronic signage.
